The Practice
Sandra Brauer has lived and worked in the Hamptons for the past 20 years and appreciates the unique style of the homes in this area. She is known for her ability to successfully marry the traditional Hampton “style” with more modern elements. Her personal philosophy on design is rooted in a sensitivity to the environment which involves how a structure sits on the landscape and the area’s climate conditions. She gives special consideration to her clients’ objectives and the requirements of the local authorities.
Sandra Brauer graduated from the University of San Buenaventura in her native country of Colombia. She has a Master’s Degree in architecture (5-year program). She completed her internship in the U.S. with two local architects, Amado Ortiz and Rossetti Perchik.
Over the past 20 years, Sandra has had the opportunity to be involved in hundreds of projects, both residential and commercial.
Sandra has a portfolio that prospective clients are welcome to browse through. She strives to create a pleasurable experience for the clients she works with – to meet their needs while designing spaces that are inviting, comfortable and esthetic pleasing.
“The Architect should strive continually to simplify; the ensemble of the rooms should then be carefully considered, that comfort and utility may go hand in hand with beauty.”
~ Frank Lloyd Wright
